About us

SignHealth is the health and wellbeing charity for deaf people. We are committed to bringing better healthcare and equality of service provision to deaf people in the UK and in Uganda, through campaigning, working in partnership and the provision of specialist services for deaf people, such as health promotion, counselling, advocacy, outreach and supported housing.

We have made enormous progress for deaf adults and children in the last few years and have ambitious targets to build on this momentum.

About the role

This is a great opportunity for someone to come in and make a big impact on a national charity.

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, your responsibilities will include leading, developing and implementing an impressive new corporate and events development strategy, focussing on securing new income and partnerships and driving forward national initiatives.

The role will include building on SignHealth’s excellent track record with its national schools fundraising event, and maximising all opportunities so that SignHealth’s fundraising objectives are fully achieved. You will prepare high quality, compelling proposals and presentations, manage budgets and provide corporate and event fundraising expertise to the charity.

It is essential that you have worked in a corporate or events fundraising role for a minimum of three years with a proven track record of successfully developing, managing and delivering high level fundraising events or national campaigns.  You will also have experience of securing high value partnerships, and experience of pitching to a corporate audience.

What we offer

In return we offer a competitive salary and pension, structured career development, and the opportunity to join a growing team with huge ambition.
