The development of the festival approach to our artistic programming and entrepreneurial activity has dramatically increased the number of people who come to Southbank Centre and the time that they spend here. A growing proportion of our work is free to access and is created in participation with a very diverse range of communities and groups. Our festival site attracts hundreds of thousands of people who have never attended a cultural event before.

Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to work closely with the Head of Corporate Development and Director of Business Development and corporate team colleagues to develop, implement and evaluate sponsorship and brand activation.

The Development team is responsible for securing significant revenue income from a variety of funding sources to support the ambitions of Southbank Centre in close collaboration with all internal departments and external partners.

The successful candidate must be able to approach companies to initiate sponsorship and/or partnership discussions and identify opportunities that would lead to successful partnerships. In addition to the establishing partner opportunities the sponsorship manager will also be responsible for on-boarding and managing ongoing activity.

Person

The role requires an individual who can work across departments, teams and companies to lead partnership activity.
