The development of the festival approach to our artistic programming and entrepreneurial activity has dramatically increased the number of people who come to Southbank Centre and the time that they spend here. A growing proportion of our work is free to access and is created in participation with a very diverse range of communities and groups. Our festival site attracts hundreds of thousands of people who have never attended a cultural event before.

Role

An exciting role within our Development team, working closely with the Head of Individual Giving to develop, design, implement and evaluate the audience campaign for the Let The Light In campaign (capital campaign to refurbish the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and Hayward Gallery).

The Development team is responsible for securing revenue and capital income from a variety of sources including philanthropic donations, hires, grants, sponsorship and corporate memberships. The team works to maximise the income to support the ambition of Southbank Centre in close collaboration with all internal departments and external partners.

The Individual Giving Team secure gifts from generous individuals and look after donors giving at a range of levels - from £1 in a donation box through to major gifts of £5,000+.
