Fundraising Officer – Wildlife Charity

Herefordshire Wildlife Trust is one of the 47 Wildlife Trusts and is the leading Wildlife Charity in Herefordshire. We are seeking to appoint an innovative fundraiser to join our Development Team, which is the engine behind the rest of the organisation’s delivery capacity. This role will lead on generating income from high value major funders, charitable trusts, grants and corporate partnerships.

Herefordshire WildlifeTrust is the largest membership-based wildlife organisation in the area, dedicated to inspiring people about wildlife, acting as a wildlife champion, creating wildlife havens and encouraging sustainable living.

Fundraising Officer
Location: Hereford, HR1
Salary: £23,286pa (pensionable) + annual performance award
Full Time, 37 hours per week
Permanent contract

This is a new post and is pivotal to the Trust’s anticipated growth over the next three years. We are seeking an individual with the ability to identify new funding opportunities, and the confidence to lead on complex applications and develop relationships with new donors.

The ideal applicant will have a degree or equivalent qualification, and 3 years demonstrable successful experience of working in a similar position.
