About the Role: 
This Regional Development Manager role will play a key part in VoiceAbility’s successful growth and in helping to ensure that they reach more people, strengthen their voices, champion their rights, and work with them to change their lives. It will work very closely with their regional services teams and with people with lived experience of the disabilities and conditions with which they work to ensure they win new contracts and grants, they retain the contracts and grants they already have and they develop new models and services. 

Reporting to the Director of Development, the role will be responsible for ensuring they meet their regional growth targets. This will be achieved through effective local and regional funding research and evaluation and for the timely co-ordination, writing, editing, cost-modelling, proofreading, production and submission of tender responses and grant applications on behalf of VoiceAbility. 

About You: 
You will understand or be experienced in work within the Adult social care sector, and ideally have knowledge of advocacy, or be capable of acquiring complex information very quickly and accurately. You’ll have a successful track-record in public / Third sector tendering and / or fundraising. 

You will be target driven, but capable of working collaboratively and successfully with people who have much less understanding of fundraising or tender writing. You will set and meet the highest standards of written work and presentation and will exercise exceptional attention to detail. You will be open to new ideas and will be capable of seeing and realising potential in the suggestions and observations of the people with whom you work. 

You may have experience of the following: Regional Development Manager, Charity, Charities, Third Sector, Advocacy, Business Development, Voluntary Sector, Tendering, Fundraising, Contracts, Grants, Tender Management, Regional Fundraiser etc.
