Prospect Researcher

The Advancement Office was established in January 2015 to secure philanthropic donations and develop key relationships between the University and the wider community, including businesses and alumni in the UK and around the globe.

We are currently seeking a talented Prospect Researcher to join the team. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of Advancement Services, and develop and implement a research strategy that supports fundraising at DMU. Using a variety of different sources, you will conduct research on potential major donors to DMU and evaluate their capacity and propensity to give. You will provide detailed biographical information for internal colleagues for meetings and events with alumni and friends of DMU and will oversee the recording of all prospect information on the Raiser’s Edge CRM database.

You will be able to work both independently and in a team and be able to manage multiple projects to meet tight deadlines. You will also have experience of working towards targets in a competitive environment.
