Community Trusts Officer

The fundraising department is fundamental to the ongoing success of Leonard Cheshire Disability.  We do this by providing innovative and exciting ways for the public to get involved and give to Leonard Cheshire Disability. Without the support we receive from individuals, Trusts and other partners we couldn't operate. That's why we've created and continue to develop a suite of fundraising initiatives. 

In this exciting and varied role you will support our Trusts and Foundations team (working closely with the Community Engagement Team) to help implement the organisations overall fundraising strategy.

We are looking for a hard working self-starter, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to join our Trust and Foundations team at a pivotal time in the organisations history.

You will be tasked with writing compelling and engaging applications to a wide range of grant giving bodies, as well as researching new opportunities and sources of income. You will develop and maximise, fundraising income opportunities through local trusts and foundations across the UK, collaborating closely with our services, and project delivery teams.

You will have a proven track record of generating income through high quality applications, and the ability to quickly form relationships with internal and external partners as a representative of the organisation.

At a time of unprecedented change for disabled people, Leonard Cheshire Disability is looking to provide real support through its services and programmes.
