Direct Marketing Officer

London

c.£28,000 per annum | 35 hours per week

  • Do you have a passion for direct marketing?
  • Have you a proven track record of developing and managing engaging and lucrative direct marketing campaigns?
  • Do you know how to use data to build intelligence driven campaigns?
  • Are you looking for a role you can make your own? One where you can develop and make your ideas a reality?

If this sounds like you, the Direct Marketing Officer role at Asthma UK could be just what you’re looking for!

Come and make a difference!

Every ten seconds someone in the UK has a potentially life threatening asthma attack and 3 people day every day. Tragically the majority of these could be prevented, while others still suffer with asthma so severe current treatments don’t work. This has to change. This is why Asthma UK exists.

We work to stop asthma attacks and cure asthma by funding world leading research and asthma scientists, campaigning for improved care and supporting people to reduce their risk of a potentially life threatening asthma attack. We are entirely funded by voluntary donations.

What the role involves:

Our Direct Marketing team is responsible for half of Asthma UK’s fundraised income. You’ll help to ensure Direct Marketing is at the core of our fundraising and organisational strategies and you’ll also help to ensure we’re doing all we can to maximise our income potential. You’ll do this by:

  • Helping to plan, develop and manage engaging and exciting direct marketing campaigns.
  • Managing and monitoring DM programme activity against agreed budgets.
  • Putting data driven intelligence at the heart of the decision we make.
  • Challenging existing ways of working and by bringing new ideas and innovations to the table
