The Fund Raising and Development Officer is a permanent full time post.

The Zoological Society of East Anglia (ZSEA) was formed in February 2013, however the zoological establishments within its portfolio are well established.  Norfolk’s Banham Zoo is well known and supported in East Anglia, being a favourite visitor destination since 1968.  Africa Alive! (formerly Suffolk Wildlife Park) has similar longevity although under the current management since 1991. The two parks currently receive some 350,000 visitors annually

The successful team player will be a key member of the senior management team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. 

The position requires a self-starter, with a proven track record in fundraising and associated marketing.  The ideal candidate will be able to identify and action opportunities to support and enable ZSEA’s operational budgets, capital development projects, and its education and conservation strategies.  Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, and at all levels, are essential.
