Gifts in Wills Officer

This post is based in the individual giving team, forming part of the fundraising department at Head Office. Leonard Cheshire Disability has a five year strategy to recruit new donors and grow our income from individual donations, regular giving, gift in wills and in-memoriam. We are looking for a fundraiser with experience of direct marketing and relationship fundraising.

Working with the Senior Gifts in Wills Officer, you will be responsible for developing fundraising materials, including a direct mail appeal, newsletter, leaflets and adverts to promote gifts in wills and in-memoriam for Leonard Cheshire Disability. This includes development of creative materials, devising schedules, selecting and segmenting data, undertaking buying of external services and delivering campaigns within budget and to reach the set targets. You will promote gifts in wills with our services and communicate directly with prospective legacy donors.

Good communication skills, experience of utilising data and project management skills are essential as well as being able to work cross departmentally and as part of a team.
