Salary: £21,644 per annum, plus £1,691 Outer London Weighting

Contract: Permanent

Location: Woodford Green

Carers Trust is the largest UK wide charity for the nation’s 7 million unpaid carers. Together with 170 Network Partners, we provide support, information, advice and services for children, young people and adults caring, unpaid, for a family member or friend.  The number of carers is a growing issue, with 3 in 5 of us likely to become a carer at some point in our lifetime. Carers save the UK economy over £119bn every year and act as a main support to our stretched health and social care systems.

We are currently looking for a Fundraising Executive to join our Trusts, Statutory and Lottery Fundraising team.

Funding from trusts, statutory and lottery funders is a significant income source for Carers Trust. The team has been very successful over the last five years in securing large grants from a wide range of funders and we have ambitious plans to raise the income Carers Trust needs to deliver its strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will have experience of conducting fundraising research and writing small trust appeals and/or reports. The role requires someone with good written and verbal communication skills, and a very good eye for detail.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in joining a vibrant organisation and very successful team.

Closing date for applications is 12 noon on Tuesday 22nd September 2015 with interviews on Monday 5th October in Bourne Court, Woodford Green.

Carers Trust is committed to valuing diversity.

Carers Trust has a number of measures in place to support the carers in its employment including carers leave.
