The Youth Sport Trust is looking for a creative, energetic fundraiser to join the income generation team.  We are a passionate and ambitious charity focussed on helping all young people to achieve their full potential in life by delivering high quality physical education and sport opportunities. Now is an exciting time for a creative and experienced fundraiser to join us to attract new supporters, secure new income and strengthen relationships with current funders to meet ambitious income targets.

As Fundraising Manager we will look to you to line manage a small team and grow support from a range of sources to maximise unrestricted fundraising income. This will include delivering an annual challenge and events programme, developing fundraising campaigns and managing Charity of the Year partnerships. You will also lead on relationships with individual supporters as well as identify prospective funders, build links, and establish a fundraising pipeline. In addition, you will monitor effectiveness, oversee regular stakeholder reporting and ensure learning is utilised to improve performance.

With experience within a fundraising management position you will demonstrate an enviable record of delivering increased funding from a range of sources. Your skills at researching funding opportunities and identifying prospects will be complimented by the ability to produce and deliver high level proposals/pitches. You will also possess a good understanding of best practice fundraising techniques and be used to motivating and leading teams. You excel at managing donor relationships, have strong relationship management skills and understand that building rapport with funders and stakeholders is essential.
