Senior Manager - Sponsorship

Are you a sponsorship professional with gravitas and the desire to join us to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured?

We are looking for a driven and self-starting individual to...

* Drive forward our sponsorship strategy, taking full responsibility for delivery of sponsorship for our world class fundraising campaigns: Race for Life, Stand-up to Cancer and World Cancer Day
* Work alongside campaign and product managers across the organisation to develop sector leading sponsorship propositions
* Form and lead a small team in the delivery of sponsorship partnerships including fully integrated activation campaigns
* Work with the other Senior Managers and the Director of Corporate Partnerships to deliver against financial and non-financial targets, and ensure consistent, effective management and development of the wider team

As the internal expert on sponsorships you’ll have an excellent understanding of all our products in order to work closely with both existing and new partners and our new business team to ensure we not only excellently deliver, but grow our sponsorship partnerships.

You’ll have the experience, confidence and gravitas to engage and win people over, convey complex ideas succinctly and have tenacity. You’ll also need a comprehensive appreciation of the corporate fundraising portfolio and exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.

* Experience of securing high value deals in the charity or commercial sector, ideally sponsorship deals.
* Experience of building and managing great relationships
* Excellent negotiation, communication and influencing skills
* Track record of exceeding targets
