We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and innovative Head of Fundraising, who is committed to our vision and who will drive forward our fundraising aspirations. This is a new and significant appointment for the organisation and offers the opportunity to help shape the organisation and deliver our exciting new Strategic Plan.

Based: Trust Head Office, Littlemore, Oxford

The primary responsibility of the Head of Fundraising will be to develop and implement a fundraising strategy and programme to maximise income from a wide spread of donors including grants, trusts and foundations, individual giving and corporate sponsorship.

The successful candidate will be creative and ambitious, with a strong major donor background as well as a proven track record with trust fundraising and individual giving along with knowledge and experience of securing income across the variety of private and public sector funding streams.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who will transform our fundraising and we will consider applicants who can demonstrate equivalent and transferable skills and experience from other sectors.

The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing 90 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.
