Community Fundraiser

Are you an exceptional communicator with a passion for fundraising? This is your opportunity to join our dynamic and successful fundraising team and make a difference to the lives of local families in Warrington.

St Rocco’s Hospice is proud of its reputation as ‘Warrington’s Favourite Charity’. We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Fundraiser with the energy and commitment needed to maximise community fundraising opportunities across Warrington.

With challenging fundraising targets to meet, you will increase the number of community partnerships for the Hospice; manage and develop fundraising groups; enhance the impact of supporter events, manage enquiries from supporters and represent the charity across the area.

As well supporting and developing existing donors, volunteers and fundraising groups, you will inspire new supporters to work with us and ensure our local fundraising activity is as effective as possible.

The successful candidate will be of graduate calibre, with prior experience or understanding of local fundraising, supported by a good and demonstrable range of office skills.

They will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be a confident networker and have outstanding relationship building skills. They must be able to identify fundraising opportunities and have a real understanding of what motivates supporters in the area to raise funds for St Rocco’s.
