Fundraising Development Manager

Over 4000 horses leave the racing industry annually, but sadly, many of them face an uncertain future. The Racehorse Sanctuary provides a lifeline for such horses; as one of the leading organisations working in this field our work is vital to thoroughbred welfare, as we have rehomed hundreds of horses since being established.

This is a Fundraising position at our Godalming office, but we are flexible about working from home.

We are seeking an energetic, innovative and highly motivated Fundraising Development Manager able to:

Establish, develop and maintain sustainable relationships with supporters in order to maximise fundraising potential.

Research, collate and analyse data that allows for identification of new fundraising income streams; set and report on fundraising performance targets.

Identify, create and develop links with local business partners with the aims of securing sponsorship for various projects

Identify and write successful funding bids to appropriate grant making trusts.

Assist and contribute to existing fundraising events throughout the year.

Establish and maintain accurate record keeping of all charitable donations received.

Ensure that fundraising activity is carried out in accordance with current good practice and within charity law.

We're looking for someone with good verbal communication skills, a positive mental attitude empathy and a good work ethic.
