This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing charity. This new position of Corporate and Individual Giving Fundraiser requires an experienced, organised and creative individual with a proven record of successful fundraising in these key areas.

Multiple System Atrophy Trust (registered charity number 1137689) was founded in 1997. The fundraising team is led by our Chief Executive. A fundraising committee and the board of trustees provides direction for income generation and the running of the organisation.

The Trust is the UK leading charity supporting people with the rare neurological brain disease multiple system atrophy (MSA).

We are a small national charity with a large reach, offering vital support to people with MSA, training health professionals and funding much needed research into the cause and a cure for what is a rare and devastating disease.  The Trust receives no statutory funding and relies entirely on voluntary donations.  Increasing income from companies and individuals will ensure that the MSA Trust continues to offer hope and support to thousands of people in the UK.

We are looking for someone with at least two years fundraising knowledge in either corporate or Individual Giving and some experience in strategic planning. The candidate must have experience in charity fundraising and reaching income targets. A good knowledge of the charity sector would be very useful.

We may consider a very experienced person who has been assisting/working closely with an experienced fundraiser in either corporate or individual giving.

Closing date for applications will be 4 March 2016, with Interviews taking place on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 March 2016.

This is an exciting time for the MSA Trust, as it looks forward to its 20th Anniversary. To be part of this and more, please forward your CV and Supporting Statement by clicking on "Apply Now"
