If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland for a Major Donor Manager. Reporting to the head of Partnerships and Philanthropy, the post holder will lead the development of a Major Donor fundraising strategy. You will play a vital role in researching, identifying and engaging major donor prospects to maximise income growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for recruiting and managing a team of passionate volunteers.

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual with excellent research, communication and managerial skills. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or hold relevant experience of working within the fundraising sector and evidence of a high level of knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework for fundraising in Scotland. Additionally, the candidate will have experience in budgeting and financial management. You will have excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with existing and prospective supporters. As there is likely to be a significant amount of travel involved in this post, a full driving license and access to a car is a requirement.
