Philanthropy Manager

WaterAid is looking for a Philanthropy Manager to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest communities. 

Working within the Philanthropy and Trusts team, the Philanthropy Manager will: 

• Implement outstanding stewardship for a portfolio of engaged and longstanding philanthropists.
• Develop creative cultivation opportunities to attract new supporters with gifts of a minimum of £100k.
• Lead and oversee a new giving programming for WaterAid alumni.

To be successful, you’ll need: 

• A proven track record of relationship building to secure grants at a six figure level.
• The ability to understand different donor motivations and deliver a bespoke relationship to manage these.
• Excellent face-to-face communication with strong interpersonal, negotiating and persuasive skills.
