Programme Development Coordinator

The Programme Development Coordinator will work closely with the Head of Funding to support the implementation of Saferworld’s funding strategy for the regions/programmes under responsibility. We are looking for someone with experience of developing programmes with country teams/partners –from programme design to writing/coordinating complex proposals; keeping track and identifying funding opportunities; and managing grants. The successful candidate will have at least three years of programme development experience and proven track record of developing successful programme proposals –including budget development, knowledge of international funding trends and key donor priorities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Thematic knowledge of security and justice, governance, gender or conflict transformation would be an advantage.
