Senior HR Officer

Part time: 30 hours per week

Salary: £21,143 (pro rata from £26,429)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and forward thinking Senior HR Officer to work within the Human Resources Team.  You will be responsible for delivering a high quality operational HR service across Peace Hospice Care by advising, coaching and enabling line managers. 

With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, together with an ability to prioritise your workload and work well under pressure, you will be part/full CIPD qualified with generalist HR background.  You should possess excellent MS Office skills and have experience of working with HR databases.

You will act at the first point of contact for day to day HR issues and have a thorough understanding of employment legislation, HR policies and procedures. You will be able to handle and support ER casework to a high standard

You will be able to work unsupervised when occasionally you are the sole representative of the HR team. You will have had some success in setting up or improving processes and systems including IT databases.
