Senior Events Fundraiser

We are looking for a confident and experienced full time Senior Special Events Fundraiser to lead on the development and delivery of our annual fundraising Galas, which take place in May and November, and a programme of other key fundraising and cultivation events throughout the calendar. This is a one year fixed term contract maternity cover position, reporting to the Director of Business Development. As a result, our ideal candidate will be ready to hit the ground running, using their significant experience to manage and deliver inspiring, unique and high-profile fundraising events.

Joining a fun, collaborative and high-performing fundraising team, which has led year on year growth, the role holder will be play a key role in supporting Chickenshed at a pivotal time in its history – following the recent appointment of a new Artistic Director.

Essential Skills & Experience

• A proven track record of managing and delivering high-profile special events
• Experienced working with high net worth individuals and committees
• Strong time management and project management skills

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience of working in the Arts
• Managing relationships with corporate partners and external organisations
• Experience of managing people, as this role will be responsible for managing and developing an experienced Fundraising Development Officer
