Fundraising Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to make a real difference to a much-loved, local charity.

Weston Hospicecare provides palliative care for people living with life-limiting illnesses in Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas.  Our primary aim is to provide a quality of life that is pain free where patients can be treated and cared for by loved ones in a place of their choice, be that here at the Hospice, their own home or a care home. 

The Hospice is a hugely popular and well-supported local charity and is reliant on the work of our volunteer fundraisers and local community to raise the funds we need to provide services to our patients and their families and friends. This is a varied role as part of our busy and successful fundraising team, with an emphasis on supporting volunteer fundraisers in our community and helping to deliver and develop our programme of fundraising events.

You’ll have strong inter-personal skills and have a flexible, ‘can-do’ attitude.  You’ll be able to work collaboratively and as a team player. You’ll also have great organisational skills and be a confident user of IT.
