Legacy Fundraiser

As part of our team expansion we are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Fundraising team as a Part-Time Legacy Fundraiser 18.75 hours per week.

This new post will focus on securing income from legacy donations by marketing gifts in wills. You will have a proactive approach to ensure that legacy income and the number of people pledging a legacy to Prospect Hospice increases. 

Legacy gifts are hugely important to Prospect Hospice; you will make sure that gifts in wills continue to be a significant income stream. There are twelve people within the growing Fundraising Department and the overall financial target for the Fundraising team is over £2m

The successful applicant must have:

• Experience of using persuasive skills on a daily basis.
• Experience of successful negotiating.
• Experience of using a wide range of marketing tools effectively.
• Experience of producing a range of communications. Written, verbal and high quality bespoke presentation/report/proposals.

We are also offering the opportunity to make this a full time role if your skill set matches both this and our part time Major Donor Fundraiser role.
