This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Senior Events Fundraising Officer with excellent communications skills, to join the Whizz-Kidz Events Fundraising Team.

Working as part of the team, you’ll deliver a number of key fundraising events within the Whizz-Kidz challenge events programme, with the main focus on RideLondon, Tough Mudder, London Marathon and Bespoke events.

This is an exciting time for Whizz-Kidz as we have been awarded £5.3 million in Lottery funding to provide more opportunities for disabled children and young people. The grant will allow Whizz-Kidz to deliver more Young People’s Services than ever before; creating unprecedented opportunities to improve the futures of disabled children and young people through clubs, camps, wheelchair skills training and work placements.

We are looking for someone with significant challenge events fundraising experience, especially running/cycling events. You will have:

  • A proven track record of delivering income, knowledge of expenditure budgets and developing event plans.
  • Excellent communication skills with the proven ability to engage and inspire supporters and acknowledge the difference their support makes.
  • Enthusiasm, energy and be an excellent team player.
  • A personal interest in sporting events is desirable.
