Association of British Neurologists (ABN) Fundraising Manager 

Location: Ormond House, 27 Boswell Street, London, WC1N 3JZ

Reports to: the executive director and the fundraising committee

Salary: competitive, dependent upon experience

Hours: 3-5 days per week

This is a new post. Funding is available for one year in the first instance.

The ABN is a registered charity and is the professional voice of neurologists in the UK with over 1,500 members.

Following the ABN’s decision to raise funds in support of neurological research and training a fundraising committee has been established. It is envisaged that initially the fundraising manager would approach other donors, charities, charitable foundations and trusts with similar aims to discuss possible joint ventures, in particular to support our clinical research training programme. Some experience in fundraising, the charitable sector and grant applications would be highly desirable.

Although based in the ABN headquarters in Bloomsbury, the post would involve out of office work, developing relationships with other charities, foundations and trusts. Working from home some of the time would be permitted.
