HEART UK is passionate about preventing premature deaths caused by high cholesterol and cardiovascular disease. We provide expert support, guidance and education to patients, their families and also the health care professionals treating the patients. We also lobby for better detection of those at risk. Working alongside the Fundraising Manager, our Fundraising Assistant will support with a wide variety of activities. 

Fundraising Assistant 
£17,500 per annum full time equivalent (£11,666 pa pro rata salary)
Part-time, 25 hours per week
12 month fixed term contract
Location: Maidenhead

Assisting with the development of promotional material, fundraising packs and web content, the Fundraising Assistant is a key member of the team responsible for helping to organise a number of high profile fundraising events throughout the year.

You will be processing and acknowledging all donations, keeping an accurate record of fundraising income, updating the database and preparing thank you letters and banking reports. You will also help to co-ordinate our professional membership and payroll giving schemes as well as keeping abreast of current data protection legislation.

With at least one year’s experience in an office environment, we are looking for applicants who can show great customer service skills and attention to detail. Experience of working with databases is also required, ideally Raisers Edge. As a member of our small team, you will need to be a real team player and prepared to turn your hand to a variety of work.
