  • Salary £25-£30,000
  • Location Westminster, London, Greater London (On-site)
  • Job Type Permanent
  • Sectors Faith-based
  • Job Reference :
  • Are you a trust fundraiser with a proven track record of success?
  • Are you ready for a new challenge that offers more scope and potential?
  • Are you a team player?

You could be just the person we need to help us achieve our ambitious plans for development. With four established projects and several new initiatives in the pipeline to fund, it’s certainly an exciting time to join SPCK.

In this brand new role within our small and close-knit Fundraising and Programmes team, you will make a really big difference to our ability to develop opportunities we’ve never explored before. You will work with our Fundraising and Programmes Director to create an annual trust fundraising plan and be chiefly responsible for delivering trust grant income. You will also cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with the secular and Christian trusts that support us.

You will need to pick up existing relationships and follow through extant applications as well as find new opportunities, which is why you’ll need a thorough knowledge of grants and foundations fundraising, plus experience of developing proposals and bids. First-rate communication skills, impeccable written English and a highly collaborative approach are important too, along with the ability to use a relational database (we use Donorflex). You will have sympathy with the work of SPCK and a good understanding of the Christian sector.

We love digital, but we’re asking for paper applications to stop spam applications and test your form-filling abilities. Please send your application by post. Online applications will be ignored.

  • Deadline for applications: Monday 22nd August at 9am
  • Longlisted candidates will be informed by Wednesday 24th August and asked to complete a written test by 5th September.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be contacted during the week of 5th September to arrange an interview in the following week.
  • Salary: £25-30,000pa, depending on experience, plus 12% non-contributory pension

Please download and complete the application form and send it along with your CV (showing your educational qualifications and relevant work history) and a very brief covering letter via the SPCK website or post to Fundraising and Programmes Director, SPCK, 36 Causton Street, London SW1P 4ST.
