We are looking for one or two exceptional candidates for the positions of Fundraising Administrator and Finance & Bookkeeping Administrator. The positions are each two days a week, and we will consider combining them into a single four day role. A fantastic opportunity to join this exciting and growing organisation!

Purpose of the Position

The Fundraising Administrator is mainly responsible for overseeing and leading the fundraising efforts of the charity alongside the CEO, as well as communications, events and general administration responsibilities. The Fundraiser / Administrator works alongside the Finance Administrator and Schools’ Administrator to provide high-level support to the CEO & Programme Director, Treasurer and Trustees.

This post requires someone who is able to manage a high degree of responsibility and who is confident working independently, as this person will for the most part be working remotely (with weekly staff meetings and quarterly board meetings). You must have excellent organisational skills and be skilled at managing your time and priorities very effectively in this part-time role, as well as an ability to be resourceful and think creatively while working within a small charity to hit crucial fundraising targets.

You will have excellent writing skills and be able to quickly produce written content for different purposes – grant applications, press releases for charity events, reports for funders, and website/social media posts. You will also have a very professional manner and be comfortable liaising regularly with a range of stakeholders – from press to Trustees, from local dignitaries to high-value funders. You will be supported and mentored by the CEO and Trustees, who have managed the charity’s fundraising successfully over the past 12 years. Experience of fundraising at a similar level required.

Reports to: CEO & Programme Director; Trustees

Hours: 16 hours/week, working remotely

Salary: £25,000 Pro rata
