We are seeking a passionate Head of Fundraising to lead our excellent Fundraising team of staff and volunteers.

St Elizabeth’s Centre is a Charity specialising in the fields of epilepsy, associated neurological disorders and other complex medical conditions.  We are one of only two national epilepsy centres offering services to all age groups with learning disabilities. These include a residential special School, College, Health Agency and a range of Adult residential care services. Our mission is to promote “Positive living and learning for people with epilepsy and other complex needs” Empathy with the values and objectives of our organisation is essential.

This is an exciting time  for an outstanding Head of Fundraising to join our  team. A number of projects already planned shall offer great opportunities to make a positive difference.  This varied role ranges from promoting the profile and achievements of the organisation through to maximising grants from trusts and net income from our growing range of charity shops.

The successful candidate  for our Head of Fundraising role will bring:

A positive track record of managing and building relationships with suitable trusts and foundations

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,

Degree level education or equivalent

Knowledge and experience of target setting, monitoring and budget management.

An understanding of charity legislation

An positive leadership style

This is a full time  (37.5 hr) Monday-Friday position (a flexi time scheme operates). However, occasional attendance outside of office hours is required, e.g. attendance at fund raising events.
