Major Grants Manager (Maternity Cover)

Womankind is looking to recruit a Major Grants Manager who will be responsible for assisting Womankind to meet its targets and aspirations for the securing of larger grants from statutory and institutional sources and large Trusts and Foundations. The Major Grants Manager will produce, maintain, manage and communicate a business development pipeline for large grants and contracts, secure up-to-the minute intelligence on what is coming down the pipeline, and ensure that Womankind is prepared in a timely fashion to respond effectively to suitable opportunities.

The Major Grants Manager will be located in the Fundraising & Marketing team, but will work closely with the Programmes, Policy and Learning (PPL) team in the development of projects and preparation of proposals and with the Finance and Resources team in contract management as well as with the CEO and Board of Trustees in building relationships with donors. The Fundraising & Marketing team comprises the Director of Fundraising and Marketing, the Major Grants Manager the Individual Giving Manager, The Major Donor Manager, the Trusts and Grants Manager, the Marketing Officer, and the Database and Fundraising Officer.
