Head of Fundraising and Development

This is a new and multi-faceted role which will be instrumental in enabling Fortismere to fulfil its strategic vision.The successful applicant will be required to devise and implement a full programme of fundraising for the school.  The post-holder will report to the Headteacher and will be responsible for the successful implementation of every aspect of the fundraising process.

At Fortismere Secondary School our intention is to develop young people that are well-educated and capable of benefitting from and contributing to society when they leave school. We endeavour to provide a curriculum that will provide students with the skills, knowledge, experience and imaginative and understanding for a lifetime of learning and enjoyment, as well as an awareness and respect for moral values and the community.

The post-holder will be a self-starter with exceptional strategic communication and administrative skills.  They will have proven experience in fundraising or relevant transferable expertise.  Applicants must be able to develop and produce effective, strategic plans and deliver them operationally.

An engaging personality, energy, a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills are all essential prerequisites.
