St. Rocco’s Hospice is looking for an exceptional Senior Events Fundraiser to join our team. You will be responsible for generating over £500,000 in income from high profile events such as the Starlight Ladies Walk, Colour Run and Strictly St Rocco’s, so you will need drive and determination to succeed in this challenging yet rewarding role.

Ideally a graduate with at least two years’ experience in events fundraising, marketing, or similar, you will be a hardworking, motivated individual with a kind and caring approach to our supporters. 

The role will involve working closely with volunteers, suppliers and event participants and the candidate will require excellent organisational skills and be target driven. Not only will you need to grow our existing fundraising events, you will also identify new fundraising opportunities.

Key responsibilities include: managing event budgets, risk assessments, negotiating with suppliers, promoting the events and increasing event participation. It is important that the candidate has a good understanding of the event management process and is prepared to be proactive in participant recruitment.

About the Charity - St Rocco’s provides a real lifeline for patients and families living with a life limiting illness in the Warrington area. This year has seen an extension of our services into the community; with a Hospice at Home service, a Neighbourhood volunteer scheme and an innovative schools project. Our ambitious plans mean we will need to raise over £3.7 million each year: something we do with huge support from of our local community.

There is regular travel within the local geographical region therefore a full driver’s licence and own car with business insurance is required.
