Established in 1889 by a group of far-sighted philanthropists, this sense of trailblazing continues today to offer a range of programmes and activities that transform young people’s lives in Bolton. Our purpose-built, flagship venue, based in the heart of the town, welcomes in excess of 4,000 young people every year aged 8 to 19 (up to 21 with disabilities).
