Branch Fundraiser

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. 
Contract: Permanent with one year probation
Reporting to: Branch Manager
Location: Primarily home based but some York office based working will be necessary.

A new and exciting opportunity is available for the right candidate, to work with the RSPCA York, Harrogate and District team as our Branch Fundraiser. The duties will include:-

•  To work to develop a comprehensive income generation plan focusing mainly on five key areas; community fundraising, corporate fundraising, grants and trusts, individual/legacy giving and challenge events. 

•  To maximise the Branch’s existing income streams and to develop new opportunities for income generation within the Branch catchment area to assist the Branch in the achievement of its aims and objectives.

•  To support, manage and develop the Branch volunteer fundraising team and staff where appropriate, to maximise income.

•  To build relationships with organisations in the local community and encourage local fundraising groups to raise money for the Branch. 

Previous experience fo the above is essentail.
