This is a great opportunity to join a professional fundraising team in a dynamic international development charity. Our goal is to reduce poverty and protect the environment in the drylands of Africa – helping some of the poorest communities in the world to grow a way out of poverty.

We’re looking for a fundraiser or direct marketer with a passion for raising money for TREE AID. Your role will be to develop successful direct marketing campaigns to raise income and maximise engagement from existing individual supporters.

Key objectives are to:

  • Lead on the supporter retention programme (through managing direct marketing campaigns), maximise supporter retention and raise income from existing individual supporters.
  • Development and day-to-day project management of supporter retention activities.
  • Manage and brief agencies, suppliers and freelancers to deliver fundraising campaigns on behalf of TREE AID.
  • Produce data and analysis to support and inform fundraising activities.

Who we are looking for:

We’re looking for someone with direct marketing experience, gained at a charity, agency or commercial organisation.

You will be confident planning, project managing and evaluating fundraising campaigns across a range of direct marketing channels (direct mail, email, telephone and online). You’ll be able to successfully juggle deadlines and priorities to get the best results.

You will have excellent communication skills, and have experience producing strong and engaging fundraising or marketing communications. With an analytical approach, you’ll be good with data and numbers, and have experience using relationship databases.
