As Head of Data, Planning and Insight here at Greenpeace, you’ll play a pivotal role in enabling an ambitious, evidence-based UK fundraising strategy aimed at doubling supporters and income by 2020.

Greenpeace is a global campaigning organisation that acts to change attitudes and behaviour, to protect and conserve the environment and to promote peace. To stay independent, we don’t accept money from corporations or governments. Everything we do is funded by ordinary people and driven by their concerns for the future. You will be a key member of the Fundraising Leadership Team delivering our ambitious targets.

As Head of Data, Planning and Insight, you’ll play a pivotal role in enabling an ambitious, evidence-based UK fundraising strategy aimed at doubling supporters and income by 2020.

Leading a team of eight, via three team managers, you’ll be developing and delivering the insight, systems and processes to meet fundraising and supporter communications objectives. As part of the fundraising leadership team, you’ll also be expected to work proactively with colleagues across the organisation to develop the wider fundraising strategy and contribute to relevant initiatives.

An accomplished data, planning and insight professional, you should have a proven track record of leading a team to deliver effective infrastructure in a mass-fundraising or marketing context. You’ll need to be a strong and supportive leader who can combine a flair for developing robust processes with the ability to focus on what’s needed for timely and practical delivery.

In particular, we would expect you to have excellent team and people management experience - including business and budget planning and delivery - with proven operational expertise in data management and analysis. To achieve maximum impact in this far-reaching role, you must be an excellent communicator and a strategic thinker who understands the value of clear plans, priorities and outcomes, yet is equally happy to adapt and grasp new opportunities.

Greenpeace stands for positive change through action and everyone who works for us is passionate about what we're trying to achieve. Join us and you'll be part of an action-led, ambitious organisation which prides itself on being an inspiring place to work.
