An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fundraising Support Officer. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing effective and efficient support for Home-Start UK’s corporate supporters in order to maximise the funds raised from these partnerships. This includes charity of the year adoptions, cause-related marketing, staff fundraising, employee volunteering, challenge events and individual fundraising.

Salary: NJC point 36, (£30,444pa)
36 hours per week
Based in Leicester

This role will also support and deliver a programme of fundraising and challenge events that will engage and cultivate new supporters, ensuring a high quality customer experience and maximising income. Events range from small receptions to national challenge events across the UK, as well as the annual Snowflake Appeal.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be confident with contacts at all levels, and have a good understanding of fundraising and the importance of customer care. They will be able to research and approach potential supporters as well as a range of resources such as venues, publishers, caterers, designers and printers as required. Attention to detail is crucial as accurate recording of income and expenditure will be key to this role.

Some overnight travel will be required as will working occasional weekends.
