Donor Care Officer

Y Care International is looking for a confident and motivated new member of our Fundraising team to provide excellent external engagement in supporter care. You will be responsible for maintaining and delivering best-in-class donor care by supporting Individual Giving engagement and stewardship, mobilising and managing recruitment for community events, printing and mailing donation acknowledgements, and general administration tasks.

YCI requires an energetic, diligent and effective individual with strong relationship and communication abilities, and the determination to maintain positive relationships with existing sources of support.

The successful candidate will ideally have strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to make personal contacts and maintain relationships with existing funders. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; be highly organised with excellent time management skills; enjoy working with others and independently; confidence in the ability to prioritise workloads and main high standards under pressure. It is desirable that the candidate would also have strong numeracy and computer literacy.

Commitment to Y Care International’s ‘Working with Children and Young People Policy’ is a requirement of employment. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
