Major Donor Manager - Hope and Homes for Children
Kage Partnership

Job Description

“We are here to change the world, and we hope you are too.”  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Major Donor Manager to work for an international organisation committed to eradicating the institutional care of children.

Hope and Homes for Children believes very simply that every child needs and deserves the love and protection of a family. Orphanages can never provide this. We are the global expert in ending an outdated system of care that is destroying the lives of 8 million children today.

As Major Donor Manager, you will play a key role in this high performing team. You will generate significant income by managing a portfolio of Major Donors, with particular responsibility for ensuring exceptional stewardship and donor care, maximising engagement and income from our top individual supporters, and identifying new opportunities and driving pipeline.

To be successful in this role, you will excel at developing and managing one-to-one relationships, building support through timely and high quality written proposals, reports and face-to-face meetings. In line with our collaborative culture, you will also be happy to work to support colleagues when required.  You will be self-aware with a thirst for personal and professional development. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the commitment and drive to deliver against deadlines, a can-do, collaborative working approach and a genuine passion for our work.

If you feel moved by both these mission and values and plans to change the world for the better, then we really look forward to hearing from you.
