Leonard Cheshire Disability (LCD) is currently recruiting for an experienced Head of Business Development to join its International Department.

The Leonard Cheshire International operation runs education, livelihoods and youth leadership projects, campaigns globally for the rights of people with disabilities and carries out academic research through its Centre based at University College London. The head office is in London, and activities are overseen by regional offices in Kenya, Zambia, Sierra Leone, India and Thailand, and delivered by partners that are part of a deeply rooted network of over 200 organisations that work across 54 countries.

The Head of Business Development International will take the lead in developing and successfully implementing an ambitious funding strategy for the growth of LCD international operations in order to significantly increase the income for programmes, research and influencing initiatives. You will work closely with senior leadership, regional offices and technical staff to deliver high quality propositions and major winning bids.
