Home-Start Royston & South Cambridgeshire (HSRSC) has a highly successful record of transforming the lives of parents with young children, by recruiting and training volunteers to provide practical and emotional help for families experiencing major problems or crisis.

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Fundraiser, with a proven track record, to play a key role in the financial growth of our charity.  The remit is wide and the organisation has considerable experience on which to draw as, in collaboration with our small, dedicated team, the successful candidate  builds on our existing income streams and researches and develops new funding opportunities in line with our Fund-raising Strategy.  This will include:

  • expanding our applications to trusts and foundations
  • extending our wide range of community fundraising activities
  • building and developing relationships with corporate and other organisations and
  • providing support for the management of major events.

It is intended that the post will be on a one year, fixed term contract, with an extension if results and funding allow.  The thirty hours’ work per week is open to Job Share and will be based at our office in Meldreth, with some opportunities to work from home.

Closing date for applications: Monday 13th March 2017, 5.00pm
