HorseWorld Trust has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Grants & Trusts Fundraiser to make a real difference to the lives of rescued horses and disadvantaged children at the South West’s leading equine charity, through the development of trust and grant income.

Having been established in 1952, HorseWorld Trust has been dedicated to helping horses, ponies and donkeys in need for over 60 years.  We rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals that have been abandoned, neglected or ill-treated.  We also run a ground-breaking educational programme called Discovery which supports emotional growth and learning in young people through hands-on experience with our rescued horses and ponies.  We have a beautifully tranquil 200 acre farm that is located between Bristol and Bath and are today responsible for over 400 equines.

We are seeking a Grants & Trusts Fundraiser with a proven track record of generating significant income through both small and large grant and trust applications.  This will be a new and strategically important role, working as part of a small but friendly team.  The successful candidate will have the ability to write creatively and persuasively and be a confident communicator.  A pro-active approach is also essential, along with the ability to meet targets/deadlines and empathy for the work of the charity.
