Head of Fundraising, Major Donor Relations and Legacies

Serving In Mission is an evangelical mission agency. We work hand-in-hand with UK churches to send and receive cross-cultural gospel workers. We currently support 150 workers and we are aiming for 300 by 2025.

The role of Head of Fundraising, Major Donor Relations and Legacies will be crucial for funding the mobilisation of workers. You will manage two donor relations managers and a trusts fundraiser. You will work closely with the Director of Finance and Stewardship to develop the strategy. You will manage the caseload of Major Donors, building on existing relationships with major donors. You will update legacy materials and develop a strategy for communicating about legacies with donors.

The charity is based near Stowmarket, Suffolk. You will spend at least 2 days a week at the office. Working from home may be possible for the remaining days.

We are looking for a Christian, committed to Biblical truth and passionate about cross-cultural mission. Experience in fundraising is essential, especially with major donors and individuals. Experience of managing fundraisers is essential. It would be desirable, but not essential for the candidate to have overseas cross-cultural experience.
