Mercy Corps is a leading global organisation powered by the belief that a better world is possible. In disaster, in hardship, in more than 40 countries around the world, we partner to put bold solutions into action—helping people triumph over adversity and build stronger communities from within. Now, and for the future.

Mercy Corps Europe has grown rapidly in terms of volume of activity and complexity. We are now looking for an experienced Fundraising Manager (Individual Giving) to join us. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, the role will lead and manage the individual giving portfolio and community fundraising team, driving creative multichannel, marketing-led campaigns. The role will play a key part in maximising income generated from individuals through direct marketing and in raising Mercy Corps Europe's profile.

Mercy Corps Europe's fundraising team is in a growth phase and there are lots of opportunities to innovate. Creative freedom is very much encouraged and the diversity of the organisation's programmes makes our fundraising work truly varied. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative fundraiser to develop new income streams and diversify the fundraising mix.

Candidates should have prior experience of managing individual giving portfolios and in managing successful multichannel, direct marketing campaigns. We are looking for a strong people manager, with excellent communication skills, who will enjoy the challenge of operating in a truly international environment.

Ideally the role will be based in our central Edinburgh HQ, however there is flexibility to be based in our London office.
