DIRECTOR OF FUNDRAISING

Salary - Circa FTE - £50k(more may be considered for exceptional candidate)

Hours – 3 days per week

Based – Peterborough

Deafblind UK is the only national charity dedicated to supporting people with combined sight and hearing loss.  We are a financially strong organisation, with a solid reputation and are ready to make a step change for growth. 

We have ambitious plans to increase both the number of people we support and develop the range and quality of services we provide but to do this we also need to make a step change in our fundraising activities.

We are looking for a Director of Fundraising and Marketing to join our friendly and supportive leadership team and help drive a new era of growth which will make a significant difference to people with sight and hearing loss.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong and successful track record of working in the charitable or not for profit sector at a senior fundraising level
  • A successful and proven track record of developing and creating new fundraising income streams
  • Exceptional people management experience: motivating, developmental and results focussed
  • Excellent relationship building skills, and able to sustain a network of valuable contacts with an entrepreneurial approach
