Salary: £47,870 per annum (actual)

About the role: 

Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK and numbers are set to rise to 1 million by 2025. 

To help us achieve our ambitious growth targets we are looking for a highly motivated, innovative individual with outstanding fundraising and relationship-building skills to join our successful Philanthropy team in the role of Senior Philanthropy Manager. In this role you will manage a portfolio of prospects, develop bespoke solicitation plans and be focused on securing philanthropic gifts at the five, six and seven-figure level for the Society’s programmes. 

About you: 

You will have demonstrable success in managing high value donors, both individuals and private foundations. Ideally this should include soliciting financial support at the five or six figure gift level. You will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of communicating complex information to a variety of audiences.
