The University of Sheffield is actively preparing to launch a major Campaign to inspire our supporters to donate or volunteer their time or advice. We are looking for someone who passionately believes in higher education as a worthy charitable cause, to coordinate and manage the Campaign planning process, and influence a step-change in the University’s approach to raising philanthropic funds for Campaign projects which impact and benefit the institution.

You will need exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to foster excellent working relationships with multiple stakeholders including University leadership. You will also have excellent project management skills.

You will need to work well in a team, and have excellent investigative and analytical skills to identify and prioritise projects around the University that are suitable for philanthropic fundraising and that support the University’s key strategic objectives. You will then develop these Campaign projects into compelling narratives and cases for support, underpinned with costings, for use by the fundraising teams.
