Title: Community and Events Manager
Reference: MBCEM52
Location: London NW2
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £37,806 - £42,960 plus excellent benefits

Our vision is a world free from the effects of MS. Our ultimate goal is to find a cure. But until then, we will do all that we can to enable people with MS to live life, knowing that they do not have to face MS alone.

We have a strategy that is based on what people with MS have told us is important to them, and it gives us a clear and determined focus. We have big aspirations and we need brilliant new people to help us achieve our ambitious goals.

We’re always ready to go the extra mile to support and inspire the thousands of people out there doing something amazing for people affected by MS. It’s our job to make sure that our supporters have a fantastic experience of fundraising for the MS Society.

Our aim is to make it as easy as possible for them to achieve their goals, providing the tools, advice and support they need to reach their potential - and building lasting relationships that mean they continue to fundraise for us in future.

Your focus will be the strategic development of our challenge events and community fundraising products, with particular emphasis on driving participation, growing income and improving supporter experience. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the growth of our portfolio, including significant projects such as the development of a bespoke walks series and involvement in developing our community fundraising strategy.

You'll work closely with supporters, volunteers, local groups and our regional/national fundraising teams to make the most of our shared potential. You will be able to demonstrate solid events and community fundraising experience, success in leading a team and developing new activities, and a proactive and collaborative approach to achieving targets.

If you’re an enthusiastic and self-motivated fundraiser who would enjoy the challenge of being part of a busy, developing team, we’d love to hear from you!

Closing date: Monday 5 June at 9am
Interview date: Tuesday 13 June
