Position: Statutory Grants and Social Investment Manager 
Location: Flexible

Hours: 35 per week

About the role: 

The Statutory Grants and Social Investment Manager will provide specialist expertise and leadership in developing the Society’s approach to maximising statutory grants and social investment. 

The Statutory Grants and Social Investment Manager will be personally responsible for the development of strategic relationships with relevant external organisations including government departments and local health and social care commissioners to support and develop opportunities for the Society to access Statutory Grants and Social Investment 

About you: 

This management role calls for an awareness and understanding of the role of social finance/investment in health and care delivery. You will have a good knowledge and understanding of the Government agenda and approach to Social Finance, with experience and understanding of Payment by Return, Social Impact Bonds, Social Return on Investment or other models used in Social Finance. 

You will have experience in issuing and/ or successfully applying for Social Finance and a good understanding of the principles and application of Social Return in Investment models. 

Educated to degree level or with a similar level of experience you will have a track record in bid, tender or grant writing and experience in Social Return on Investment. You will have excellent communication skills and experience of managing or supporting others in successful funding applications.
